SEWER SYSTEMS

W-Series | WH101 & WR101 Grinder Pump Station

Open wetwell grinder pump station for low pressure sewer systemsThe W-Series is E/One's most versatile grinder pump station — a range of basins, covers, discharges, inlets and panels are available. Grinder pumps pump wastewater from the home to the central sewer and/or treatment system through small-diameter pipes.

Featuring the E/One Extreme grinder pump, the WH101/WR101 offers a high level of reliability and ruggedness.

Features

E/One's WH101/WR101 grinder pump station consists of a pump inside an open wetwell tank. The grinder pump, motor controls and level-sensing are integrated into a compact unit, easily removable for service.

The WH101 is the “hardwired,” or “wired,” model where a cable connects the motor controls to the level controls through watertight penetrations.
The WR101 is the “radio frequency identification” (RFID), or “wireless,” model that uses wireless technology to communicate between the level controls and the motor controls.

Solids are ground into fine particles that pass easily through the pump, check valve and small-diameter pipe lines — even objects that are not normally found in sewage, such as plastic, rubber, fiber, wood, etc. The 1-1/4" discharge connection can be adapted to any piping materials that meet local code requirements.

The tank is made of tough, corrosion-resistant HDPE and offers 100 gallons of capacity. A single WH101/WR101 can accommodate the sewage flow from two single family homes or up to 700 gallons per day.

The internal check valve assembly, located in the grinder pump, is custom designed for non-clog, trouble-free operation.

The grinder pump is automatically activated and runs for very short periods. Electrical consumption of the grinder pump is low -- a household that uses 250 gallons of water per day should use less than 10 kwhr per month to run the pump. (Actual water and power usage will vary.)

Units are designed to accommodate a wide range of depths; tank height can be adjusted in the field.
