Leadership in Motion at Environment One Corporation

Niskayuna, NY — George Earle, president of Environment One Corporation (E/One), has been promoted to group vice president of the Engineered & Industrial Products Group (EIPG) inside the SPS Fasteners Division of Precision Castparts Corp. (PCC). He will continue to serve as E/One’s president, and in this new capacity, Mr. Earle will also be responsible for the J&L Fiber Services; NSS Technologies; and Metalac companies.

Mr. Earle has held positions of increasing responsibility with E/One from 1991 to 1999 (and after a stint with Plug Power) since 2005, including director of engineering and vice president of technology. Mr. Earle has 25 years of engineering experience in a variety of industries including aerospace, robotics, automation, advanced composites, wastewater, and power generation; he currently holds 12 U.S. patents.  Mr. Earle holds both a B.S. and M.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

In related news, E/One’s two discrete businesses, Sewer Systems and Utility Systems, will now be headed up by  Eric LaCoppola and Ron Brosnihan respectively. This reporting structure will enable Mr. Earle to attend to his new responsibilities while ensuring the businesses’ continued focus on growth.   

Eric LaCoppola, E/One’s new vice president, Sewer Systems Business (SSB), joined the company as a manufacturing engineer in 1998, was later promoted to manufacturing manager, and most recently served as vice president of operations. His previous business experience includes operations management and product engineering in both domestic and international roles at Dupont. Mr. LaCoppola graduated from Clarkson University with a BSME and earned his MBA from Sage Graduate School. 

Ron Brosnihan, E/One’s new vice president, Utility Systems Business (USB), joined the company in 1992 and has served as USB marketing specialist; international regional sales manager for USB; regional sales manager and marketing manager for SSB; general manager for USB; and vice president of products and markets. Prior to E/One, he worked in the advertising industry both locally and in New England. He has also served as an adjunct in the marketing department of the State University of New York School of Business. He holds a BA in political science from Union College and an MBA from Sage Graduate School.
