Features

The DX502 grinder pump station consists of two model DX explosionproof grinder pumps in 500-gallon tank. The grinder pumps, motor controls and level-sensing are integrated into a compact unit, easily removable for service. The pumps are rated for explosionproof under Factory Mutual standards (approval standard 3611).

Solids are ground into fine particles that pass easily through the pumps, check valves and small-diameter pipe lines — even objects that should not be in sewage, such as plastic, rubber, fiber, wood, etc. The 1-1/4" discharge connections can be adapted to any piping materials that meet local code requirements.

The tank is made from tough, corrosion-resistant FRP. The DX502 can accommodate flows of 6000 gallons per day. Stations are available in heights of 129 inches and 160 inches.

E/One requires the installation of its stainless steel UNI-LATERAL to prevent backflow from the sewer system from entering the grinder pump station.

About the E/One Grinder Pump

The grinder pump is automatically activated and runs for very short periods. Electrical consumption of the grinder pump is low and will vary with actual water consumption.

E/One grinder pumps do not require preventive maintenance and boast an average of eight to 10 years between service calls. If service is required, the  one-piece core eliminates the need for in-field troubleshooting and servicing — the pump core can be quickly pulled out and replaced, meaning minimal maintenance costs and inconvenience for the property.

Operational Information

Motors: 1 HP, 1725 rpm, high torque, capacitor start, thermally protected, 240 or 120 volt, 60 hertz, 1 phase

Inlet Connections: 4" inlet grommet standard for DWV pipe. Other inlet configurations available from factory.

Discharge Connections: Pump discharge terminates in 1-1/4" NPT female thread. Can easily be adapted to 1-1/4" PVC pipe or any other material required by local codes. E/One requires the installation of its stainless steel UNI-LATERAL to prevent backflow from the sewer system from entering the grinder pump station.

Discharge:
15 gpm at 0 psig
11 gpm at 40 psig
7.8 gpm at 80 psig

Electrical Information

A dedicated 30A breaker is required, with #10 wire, for 240V single phase. You need to bring L1, L2, N and Gnd to the E/One panel.

If only 208V power is available, a buck boost transformer is required to boost 208V to 240V. The E/One pump requires a minimum of 216V to start and run reliably.
